Our Essay Competition Winners
At our last meeting our two essay competition winners came to receive their certificates and prizes.
Kevin won last year but due to restrictions had not been able to get to a meeting before this.
Nadira won this year.
Our Meeting on 17 June
Our District Governor, Philip Archer, came and gave a presentation about Rotary projects and the looking to the future.
We welcomed four new members to our Club:

OUR CHANGEOVER EVENT THIS THURSDAY
Our Changeover is this Thursday. We have a cap on numbers of 75 attendees and we have that number booked in. We also have a waiting list of those wishing to attend.
So it is vitally important if you have booked in and now find you are unable to attend please let Hugo know asap so someone from the waiting list can take your place. Thank you for doing this.

Opening of Yarra Bank Playground on 8 August
It's official! The official opening, that is. The R100 Playground Committee has agreed with the City of Boroondara that the official celebrations for the opening of the Rotary 100 Playground at Yarra Bank Reserve will be on Sunday August 8th, 2021. The event will be a giant Family Fun Day, featuring children's entertainment, music, refreshment stalls, and we are coming to the party too, to provide the sausage sizzle for the day.
