President Greg
  • Did you miss me for the last 2 weeks?
  • Did you know sunny Queensland is a myth – it was wet!!
  • Gee………... It’s nice to be back home with you all.

As always, continue to enjoy all of the Opportunities that RCNB has Open to you.
President Greg 😊

Sergeant's Snippets
On arrival, the Sergeant observed members listed to conduct Greeter and Desk Duty last Thursday. It was amusing to note there was a game of Musical Chairs going on. The duty roles were filled and the tasks completed which is what RCNB is known for. Thank you to those members who filled in, swapped and changed chairs. Also, thank you to those members who kept the Sergeant informed of changes to  their duty prior to the meeting.

It was good to see Tony Hart return to the meeting.

Our Meeting on 13 May

While talking to the subject, The Biggest Issue Of Them All, our special guest and former Victorian Premier and Glenferrie Rotarian, Ted Baillieu AO gave us a sobering challenge and global perspective about population pressures over the next three decades.

Club Meeting Attendance
For those who have problems remembering to book each week or those who remember too well our methods of 5 to 30 years ago.
Last week we had 10 late apologies which was about 1/3rd of the on-time bookings.  Fortunately, on this one occasion, KGC were able to cope with this over-the-top late increase in numbers and we avoided asking a few members to attend, but no meal.
Please remember to book your attendance each week.  NO booking infers an apology.  Apologies are also acceptable.
Rotary attendance has become more casual and we can no longer assume all non-bookings are apologies.
