Club’s Homelessness Project
A donation of $4,000 was made to Servants Community Housing (CEO Amana Donohoe - pictured receiving the cheque) .
Hopefully the funds can be used to facilitate purchase of a new Stove and air conditioner which both are urgent upgrades required
Boroondara Community Outreach
At the initiative of Hugo Goetze, a payment of $820 has been made by the Club for the purchase of Rotary puddings for hampers being prepared by the Uniting Church in Highbury Grove Kew for the needy in our area
Afghan Refugee Project
· The Board has approved payment up to $1,500 to assist delivery costs for the transport of donated goods (furniture etc) to assist Afghan refugees. Rowan McClean and Cris Yudi are active in this project.
· The children’s gifts donated by members (at the meeting) will also be made available as part of this project.
